A "Grand" Attempt

Spring Break trip to Arizona
Backpacking the Grand Canyon cut short because of serious snow storm.
These pictures are from the one day that we were able to hike.

Thanks for the heads-up on this site. I will definitely bookmark it and follow vicariously as I struggle just to get the preschooler and infant out of the house every day with everyone clean, awake, and happy.

Treasure your independence!! :)

Leslie!

I'm so excited for this blog. I meant to call you back last night, but I got tired after my phone went free at 8:00...plus I had to go through some junk that I put in a box about 2 months ago... : ) Part of assimilating Emily into 768 Sweetgum, or better known as "The Shoebox". I'm glad I found this site. I'll talk to you soon.

I forgot to mention that my box of 'junk', was only figurative junk, which means I didn't know what I put in it. I did find treasures such as pictures of Montana and the 'ol Grand Canyon. It was awesome to remember the grandness of those adventures. Plus it caused me to miss you like crazy since I only got to see you briefly at the wedding... Also, my mind didn't do any justice to Glacier National Park...my pictures are beautiful, more than I remembered.

Hi Leslie,
I am so thrilled for you! I have always admired people who are comfortable being this "outdoorsy". It is a fabulous opportunity and a challenge that I have no doubt you will complete. Be safe. I have saved your blog to my favorites so I can check it frequently.
